Estos costos se asocian habitualmente a: disminuci\u00f3n del desempe\u00f1o en ese puesto de trabajo, baja moral entre los pares y compa\u00f1eros de equipo en los aspectos blandos; y gastos de reclutamiento y selecci\u00f3n y entrenamiento entre los costos duros.<\/p>\n<p>A lo anterior podemos agregar algunos datos de contexto de nuestro pa\u00eds: durante el a\u00f1o 2007, las desvinculaciones por decisi\u00f3n de los empleados superaron largamente a los despidos por decisi\u00f3n del empleador. Vaya dato!!<\/p>\n<p>Sin embargo, y muy a pesar de lo anterior, son muy pocas las empresas (sin importar su tama\u00f1o) que:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Crean una cultura de alta retenci\u00f3n comenzando con el estudio del clima laboral.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0 Reducen activamente la rotaci\u00f3n del personal por medio de: evaluaciones de potencial y reconocimientos basados en el desempe\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Las personas migran en busca de entrenamiento y oportunidades para el desarrollo de sus carreras. En consecuencia, la importancia de retener el talento en la organizaci\u00f3n no puede ser subestimada.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n\u00bfQu\u00e9 cosas concretas es posible hacer? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1-<\/strong> Suba las personas correctas al \u201ccolectivo\u201d organizacional: un proceso de selecci\u00f3n profesional, que comience con una exhaustiva descripci\u00f3n del perfil requerido evitar\u00e1 la primera parte de los problemas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2- <\/strong> Comunique, comunique y comunique: aunque parezca una verdad remanida, pocas cosas hay m\u00e1s importantes para generar un buen clima y retener a las personas: roles, responsabilidades, expectativas de desempe\u00f1o, nuevas pol\u00edticas, la marcha de la organizaci\u00f3n. Nada, absolutamente nada, es excesivo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3-<\/strong> Incluya a todos en la toma de decisiones en sus puestos y \u00e1reas de trabajo: puede sorprenderse positivamente frente a las ideas que jam\u00e1s se le hubieran ocurrido a la alta direcci\u00f3n!!!<\/p>\n<p><strong>4-<\/strong> Facilite el compartir conocimientos entre los integrantes del equipo: esto estimula la retenci\u00f3n de conocimientos pero tambi\u00e9n las armon\u00eda y el respeto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5-<\/strong> Eval\u00fae el desempe\u00f1o y el potencial: estar atentos a las personas con posibilidades de crecimiento mediante evaluaciones profesionales as\u00ed como explicitar los niveles de desempe\u00f1o colabora con la retenci\u00f3n, la generaci\u00f3n de planes de carrera y la percepci\u00f3n de que la empresa sabe \u201cquien es quien\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6-<\/strong> Acorte los tiempos para la retroalimentaci\u00f3n: no es necesario esperar el proceso anual de evaluaci\u00f3n!! El feedback peri\u00f3dico estimula la mejora de la performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7-<\/strong> Ofrezca paquetes remunerativos competitivos con el mercado.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8-<\/strong> Estimule el balance entre la vida laboral y la vida personal: hay vida fuera de la empresa!!<\/p>\n<p>Y por \u00faltimo (tendr\u00eda que estar al principio??)<\/p>\n<p><strong>9-<\/strong> Cuide obsesivamente la calidad de la supervisi\u00f3n: las personas abandonan personas, no abandonan puestos de trabajo. Los jefes crean el clima local (positivo o negativo), desarrollan o estancan, estimulan o desalientan. As\u00ed que cuidado!!<\/p>\n<p>Esperamos, como siempre, estimular la reflexi\u00f3n.
